I didn't mind his ROH shit. That's about as indie as I saw, on syndication on the Fight Network no less. You can recognize potential. I look at CM Punk and Jericho and guys like that as the most truly underrated talents of their time. Jericho got a bit of limelight near the end but he never would have if they weren't hard up for anybody interesting at the time. Same with Punk's short stint as a main eventer. They're the Roddy Pipers of their generation.
If Pro Wrestling had more charismatic and talented wrestlers around, I would still watch it. But they're all doing MMA now. I think it's a natural progression. The only downside is we have to watch to make sure MMA doesn't start to get storylines and works.
