Zuffa is taking Copyright laws into a whole new level now. This just recks of pure business insecurity.

EA should challenge this, they have the resources and i really don't see any court of litigation awarding zuffa copyright infrindgement for fighting stances, this is absurd at best..

though its a good game, the sales were absolutely dismal, like a shocking failure in lack of sales, i wonder if the game was a huge success would EA have bent over and took this so easily?

its that typical greedy double standard that defines douchebaggs who want the world and everything in it, we can use the fuck out of all yours, but you can't even come close to using ours or even looking like it, was well planned by zuffa, i think the lack of sales for this game meant to them EA wouldn't risk losing more money then they already have off the pallets of this unsold game sitting in warehouses by challenging this..

EA can defeat this in court if they want to spend the money doing so.

EA has been in the publishing and development business when it comes to video games for a long, long time, they know what they can and can't do. I'm pretty sure if EA and any of it's parent companies knew they could do it, they would have pushed and fought against it, but they know the license agreements and how it works considering they have the exclusive license agreements with the NFL and the NFLPA. EA isn't dumb, and they know what they are doing, I could agree against their games, but that's another topic, but they know what they can do when it comes to license and games.

Trust me, if they could do it, they would do it and fight for it, them not allowing, pretty much means they can't use it.

Hell if I know, personally, I didn't think either game was that great. Just saying that EA could, if they wanted to, probably argue it, but I'm sure they know what they can and can't do and probably might lose anything in a likeness license battle.
