Badr Hari on Holland Sport

Post by Yari on Mon Feb 21, 2011 8:30 pm

Dont have the video yet but I am sure someone will upload it soon. I'll also keep an eye out an drop in on Youtube.

- He didnt want to give a scoop on his next opponent, and still claims he fights in May. I guess he wont replace Hesdy Gerges.
- He said he wants to stop surrounding himself with negative news, and be known as a athlete again.
- Didnt want to promise/guarantee he will never go beyond the ref's call again (ala Remy/Gerges).

They also showed the Thom Harinck clip where Thom spoke about avoiding the wrong kind of people. I thought it was funny they showed it, as I was wishing he would have listened to that myself like a month ago. He kinda waved it off saying the sport is about more than that.

They also did some lame Last Man Standing quiz where you'd either put on a cap to vote Yes/No for an question. Mike Passenier was in the audience and you could see he was not really into it, he never put on the cap hoping to be able to stop participating but he ended up being one of the last guys in it, it was funny. You could see the people he brought laughing about it. Laughing

Great to see badr again.I believe that he had the time
to think about his carrer and come back and become and
claim what is rightfully his...and that is the No1 Kickboxer
in the world.

nah, if he keeps beating bouncers up I may become a fan again lol!

Especially if he does it in Leeds. Me and Sean have to have some sort of record for most bans from bars/clubs before we were even of legal age!

Badr visits Leeds, hospitalises a few roid monkeys in black coats? WAR BADR

Badr Hari is the bet kickboxer in the world. Hes the only man in the world that can finish Reem, Schilt, Aerts in the first round the way he did. No one else can do that. Listen to the way Hoost commentates during Hari vs. Leko II. Hari is 300x more skilled than Reem. Easily the best kickboxer imo.

Lets see him beat Ghita. Remember, Ghita fought in the WGP finals with an injured groin this year. Ghita with better boxing = invincible

On form, Badr is probably the best, but with Ghita and even Saki rising through the ranks, it's not as clear cut as you make out.

That fight was pure luck. It's Showtime 2005 was the real shit

Ghita vs Hari is a painful match for me
cause I love them both but at the same time
it can be an instant classic

come on fletch you make great points but its not unthinkable I mean he basically gave remy the 2008 GP and in 2009 he hadnt even fought for a full round I believe before succumbing to semmy

Re: Badr Hari on Holland Sport

All I'm saying is, lets be real.

The field:

*Reem - 1-1 with Badr, K-1 World Grand Prix champ, which Badr never has been
*Ghita - amazing fighter, injured for this years WGP finals, but a risen star for sure. Look for him to make 2011 his
*Badr
*Semmy
*old Aerts - still the fire
*Saki - different fighter now, another guy wishing to make 2011 his
*Gerges
*Spong

I just dont think it's reasonable to say "oh Badr walks back in and tools all deez gaisse!!!!" There's some real talent up there in 2011.

Like I say, lets see him come back and beat Ghita, or rematch Semmy, Reem, Saki and Gerges

Ok, agreed.

semmy is getting old too. I dont think he can keep up with these young lions for much longer.

I think ghita would send him packing.
