They Hype Machine Affects MMA's Journalists P4P lists

Is it just me or does the UFC hype machine do a good job at putting people on the p4p list. Some are legit fighters and I think that UFC has some of the best competition, but really I think HYpe has a huggge factor on these lists being posted by (Sherdog,MMA Live, Inside MMA, Posters etc...)

Yes it does. The fact that people like John Fitch and Rashad are on there is total bullshit and proves that people making these list are either stupid, sucking up, or paid off.

Fedor's skill set is WAY better than Fitch and Rashad. Yet he is not on there.

ShitDog has Frankie Edgar and Fitch above Shogun. Shogun has a great ground game and striking. Fitch lays on people and Frankie hits and runs. Shogun is a better fighter. His skills beat theirs.

Maybe they don't make p4p lists based on the fighters skills on shitdog. Who knows. They are full of shit though.

I agree, I have no number one i just have a group of guys that I think belong on the list. The way that they were talking about MMA live about how the guy was to fight in a different weight class with the skillset how would he do, is completely hypcritical of their lists. Brock lesnar at lw would be terrible and by their standards shouldn't be on anyone's list.

Pfp rankings are just a marketing tool, without any way of verifying. So yes, they are used by zuffa and sites to justify their fighters and give them extra popularity and hype.
